DESCRIPTION:CANCLLED: Due to unforeseen circumstances\, this series of events has been cancelled.\nFinding Freedom: The Solution to Samsara\n10:30am – Noon  \nJoin us every Sunday to explore the fundamentals of Buddhism: \n\nThe Two Truths\nThe Four Noble Truths\nThe Three Jewels\n\nThe Two Truths are the ultimate and conventional nature of the way all phenomena exist. The Four Noble Truths reveal the nature and causes of suffering and the problems we endure\, and how we can reverse delusion and attain freedom by realizing emptiness\, the ultimate truth.  \nRealization of the The Two Truths and The Four Noble Truths destroys our innate misconceptions of how the self and things exist\, the root ignorance — samsara — that binds us. \nThe Three Jewels — the Buddha\, Dharma and Sangha — are the embodiment of what we can become. The Buddha\, who attained complete enlightenment\, and the Sangha\, who have realized emptiness\, are the valid teachers of the Dharma thus realized. Enlightenment is possible. \nThe path to enlightenment requires us to observe and work directly with our own mind and learn the skill of meditation. Each Sunday we will start each session with guided meditations and instruction\, and then delve more deeply into the topics above.\n——\nDrupon Thinley Ningpo\, spiritual director for Drikung Namgyal Ling\, has asked Ven. Daychen to give these talks to help deepen our understanding of the path\, and she has graciously accepted.
