DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED DUE TO CORONA VIRUS — STAY TUNED FOR RESCHEDULING\n \nBardo Teaching\nDrikung Namgyal Ling is pleased to announce a very special teaching by Venerable Khenpo Tenzin on Saturday\, March 28th & Sunday\, March 29th\, 2020. \nKhenpo Tenzin will guide us through the six bardos as presented in “The Root Verses of the Six Intermediate States”\, one of the most famous sections of the Bardo Thotrol. \nBardo Thotrol\, translated into English as The Tibetan Book of the Dead\, is a series of instructions on spiritual liberation. The eighth-century master\, Padmasambhava\, buried these sacred texts in the Gampo hills in Central Tibet where later the great teacher Gampopa established his monastery. This terma or “hidden treasure” was discovered centuries later by Karma Lingpa. \nSpiritual liberation\, in this case\, means that whoever comes into contact with this teaching – whether in the form of doubt or with an open mind – receives a sudden glimpse of enlightenment through the power of the transmission contained in this precious treasure.  \n“The Root Verses of the Six Intermediate States” and associated teaching materials will be provided.  \nSchedule  \nMarch 28\, 2020\, 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm\nMarch 29\, 2020\, 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm \nTeachings Fee – 2 days of teaching: \n\n$55 non-members \n$35 Supporting Members & above\nFoundation Members — free\n\nPer Session Fee: \n\n$15/session\, $30/day for non-members\n$10/session\, $15/day for Supporting Members or above\nFoundational Members are free\nWork Study Positions are available but require prior arrangements.
