SUMMARY:Mandala Practice: A Hands-on Approach to Ultimate Generosity
DESCRIPTION:Mandala Practice is part of the Preliminary Practices (Refuge\, Vajrasattva\, Mandala\, Guru Yoga) and focuses on generosity. Mandala practice is a means of developing generosity by cutting through attachment and desire. In the Mandala Practice\, we visualize offering the entire universe to all the Buddhas and Bodhisatvas\, the Dharma and the Sangha. \nAll of the wealth of the universe is symbolized by the rice held in our hands. We visualize the rice as every jewel and precious stone\, and offer it (generosity) to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas\, the Dharma and the Sangha. \nDrupon Rinpoche will lead a 1 and 1/2 day teaching on the meaning and application of the Mandala\, including instruction on its creation. \n\n1871 N. King Street Tucson\, Arizona 85749 (Click here for a map) \nFor More Information:\nPati Stein: 465-1882
