SUMMARY:Tummo Practice Instruction
DESCRIPTION:Tummo is one of the 6 Yogas of Naropa.  It focuses on controlling the bodies energies and turning them to heat and bliss. \nThe purpose of Tummo is to gain control over bodily processes during the completion stage of “highest yoga practices”  thus furthering one’s goal towards enlightenment. Though having basic yogic training is helpful\, this teaching is open to everyone.   \nDrupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche will instruct us in the practice of Tummo (a completion stage practice) using Vajrayogini as a generation stage practice. DESCRIPTION:This a closed meditation retreat led by Drupon Thinley Ningpo\,  including step-by-step instruction and commentary by Rinpoche.  This is a rare opportunity to practice under the direction of a practice retreat master.  Drupon’s gentle and patient guidance is a blessing to one’s practice and one’s path. \nAttendance to the prior practice instruction is encouraged but not required. All required texts will be provided. This is a closed retreat and pre-registration is required as space is limited.
