SUMMARY:Introduction to Mahamudra: The Co-Emergent Unification
DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Mahamudra the Co-emergent Unification by Lord Jigten Sumgon is considered the amalgalmation of the entire gamut of essential instructions of Buddha’s teachings of sutra and tantra. Lord Sumgon founded the Drigung Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism in the twelfth century and taught the Dharma of the three vehicles extensively for forty years. Lord Sumgon had more than a hundred thousand disciples at a time\, and as the famous saying goes\, “the mountains are filled with Drigung practitioners and the plains are filled with Drigung patrons.” His teachings\, coming from his own experience\, are well known for their clarity and precision. This is the second year in a row that we will be the fortunate recipients of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche’s wisdom and instruction. \n St. Markís Presbyterian Church 3809 East Third Street Tucson\, Arizona 85716 (Click here for a map) \n\n (Click here to download a teaching flyer.) \n(Click here to download a Lunch with the Lama reservation form.) \n(Click here to pre-register.)
