SUMMARY:Preliminaries to Buddhist Tantric Practice
DESCRIPTION:Teachings by Drupon Thinley Ningpo \n \n  \nBuddhist Tantra is also known as Vajrayana\, Tantrayana\, the Third Turning of the Wheel\, and the Two Truths Doctrine. \nExperiencing ultimate truth is said to be the purpose of all the various tantric practices in the Vajrayana.  All practices are aimed in some way at purifying the impure perception of the practitioner to allow ultimate truth to be seen.  These may be ‘preliminary practices” or the more advanced techniques of the tantric sadhana. \nThis weekend’s teaching will be in preparation for Drupon’s next visit in October 2015\, when DNL will offer Vajrasattva and Vajrayogini empowerments\, and Tummo Practice retreat. \nDrupon Thinley Ningpo will once again share his knowledge and perspective with us by providing commentary on this very precious Dharma. \nSuggested Donation: $85 \nFor more information please contact: \nPati Stein 520-465-1882 \npati.c.stein@gmail.com
