Thekchen Tenpai Nyingpo is a compendium of both Sutrayana and Tantrayana teachings. ìThekchen Tenpai Nyingpo: The Essence of Mahayanaî was written by Ngorje Repa, a senior disciple of Lord Jigten Sumgon. The book is a summary of the essence teachings of all traditions ó a sort of road map to enlightenment written in a way that is easily understood. An important text of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage, its primary focus is on the Five Fold Mahamudra: Preliminary Practices, Yidam, Four Kaya Guru Yoga, Mahamudra, and Dedication.
